PLATE AND PIPE BENDING MACHINES

* MAIN FRAMES:
These are fabricated from M. S. rolled section confirming no jerks will come during Rolls operation. The frame is machined accurately for fitment of housings.

* HOUSINGS:
These are fabricated from M.S. plates which are welded as Box type frames with grey Cast Iron or Phosphorous Bronze Bearings in the main journals for the rolls.

* ROLLS:
The Rolls are forged Alloy Steels machined . Two bottom rolls are fitted in movable in fixed beaings, the top roll will be movable screw down arrangements called PYRAMID TYPE MACHINE. Two bottom rolls movable in the bearings and also move up and down by screws & nuts called INITIAL PINCH and PINCH PYRAMID Type Machines.TOP ROLL rotates in the Fixed Centre. A Shell is formed around the Top Roll. The Swinging of Drop-End Bearing of the top roll permits quick and easily removal of rolled Pipe, while the roll itself remains in horizontal position.

* BOTTOM BENDING ROLL:
The two bottom rolls are arranged symmetrically. They adjusted diagonally up and down with electric motors coupled with specially designed gear boxes. The movements of the both rolls is dependent of each other. These Rolls can be inclined with respect of top roll during Conical Rolling.

* ADJUSTMENTS:
The bottom rolls are adjusted mechanically by gear boxes and screw termed as bending Gear Box or also adjusted Hydraulically if required. The housings are fitted with Alloy Steel worm and phosphorous Bronze worm wheels, mounted in tapered Roller Bearings for smooth operation Gear Box.The position of bottom rolls with respect to the top roll determines the curvature of the Shell or Pipe to be rolled.

* The MAIN DRIVE:
The main drive to the rolls are obtained from a high powered motor through Reduction Gear Box, pinion and Gear. All the Gears and Shafts are driven in Ball/Roller Bearings. The main motor is reversible type, which facilitates pre bending as well as rolling in both directions for Initial Pinch/Pinch Pyramid type machines and directly driven the main machine through main only & bottom rolls are movable in Fixed Bearings called Pyramid type Machines.

Pipe and Section Machines are pyramid, Initial Pinch and Pinch Pyramid type and also Hand operated, motorized and Hydraulic operated.
