SECTION ROLLING MILL ( 3 HI and all types )
Rod and all Section Rolling Mills plant have
7" , 8" , 10" , 12" , 14" ,16” ,18" , 20" or more diameter rolls.
Complete Mill consisting of 2,3,5 and 6 stands with gear box,
bed plates, couplings, spindles and guide bars ,foundation bolts and nuts.
The work of rolling mill is to reduce the thickness of metals.
Description of 6 stand mill :
* 17 rolls for 6 stands mill.
* High carbon rolls for 1st. & 2nd. stand.
* Alloy steel rolls for 3rd. , 4th. & 5th. stand.
* Chilled rolls for 6th. stand.
* Suitable heavy flywheel according to size of mill.
* Drive shaft, double roller bearings & bearing blocks, couplings, spindles,
pedestal bearing for the mill.
* Mill driven by " V " belt pulley and motor.
* One complete re-heating furnace with good quality refractory bricks,
steel structures, tie- rods, oil fired with burners, blower, oil pipes,
door lifting mechanical mechanism/ electric type, mechanical/hydraulic
type pusher arrangement.
* Overhead heavy duty structures for Electric hoists & cranes over
the Rolling Mill plant.
* Rods and Bars usually applies to Round, Hexagon or Square bars
rolled. to Steel section such as Angles , T , I , etc.
WIRE RODS:
Small Rods Usually 3/8 in to l/4 in diameter rolled in long coils.
